Motivational Radio: Online Internet Radio Community
Update: Motivational Radio has gone through several changes in the last few years. Radio show hosts left; listener numbers fell. Leadership staff changed, though owner remains the same. Big changes are happening at Motivational Radio, an online internet radio station that promotes experts in business, health and wellness. The station is showcasing experts in various fields, as well as weekly segments in charity news, social marketing, online business, music, motivation and wellness. They also launched a community network, where you can join for free and access some great information, plus listen to the station and chat with other community listeners. And the fan base grows every week.
When I started as the team’s <b>professional writer</b> in June, our goal was to reach 100,000 listeners by December 2010. We’ve surpassed that number by an unbelievable landslide! As of August 31, 2010, our actual listeners exploded at 1, 654, 179!
Our listeners inspire us, and we continue to focus on providing the best content. Here are some of the fabulous features to our online internet radio community.
Online Internet Radio Community
We launched a community network, which works similarly to other social networks. It’s free to join, and you can add your blog, photos, profile, and friends. You can chat with fellow community members through private messaging, instant messaging, and the radio chat room.
Why Is It Important To Join An Online Radio Community?
If you’re online for any reason (business, personal, surfing for info), you probably have joined different groups or sites. Social networking is a powerful way to find like-minded people. Online internet communities offer specialized information and a place for people all over the world to share and learn. Motivational Radio’s mission is to motivate, educate, and inspire. Their listeners are motivated to learn about self improvement, success, personal development, health and wellness, and similar topics. If you’re interested in these important topics, then you’ll find free information and a way to connect with others who feel the same way you do. What could be better than connecting worldwide with people who care about the same things you do!
Motivational Radio and Its Community Life Account
The community blog gives updates on news from the station and its shows, as well as recommended sites and resources. From the site, you can find small business videos, an article directory, access to the studio, and more. Download the toolbar, and you’ll have access to your community account and be able to listen to music and shows while you’re surfing the net. In fact, neat things are continuously added to the community site.
We’ve been working hard to provide the best online content, as well as creating an amazing community network. There are multiple ways to access our shows and information and to connect with fellow community members.

Motivational Radio is an amazing resource. The community offers free information, expert interviews, and special segments in motivational, health and wellness.
For businesses, the benefits are more traffic to your site,inexpensive online radio adverts, and one free interview for approved business/individuals. Obviously, ads or interviews are reviewed to make sure the business fits the focus of Motivational Radio. You can sign up for a free advertiser account, and if you upgrade to a gold account, there’s even more benefits, like 40 adverts played for a month and 4 30-minute shows (either live or recorded). Gold members can even promote their own products in the Motivational Show’s store.

Thanks Jennifer for giving more information about Motivational Radio. Anthony interviewed me last fall, and my friend Kellie Frazier has a weekly show on the channel. One question though, do I have to download the toolbar to listen to even one show? Kellie’s show just started 2 weeks ago and I haven’t caught one yet, but I did listen to my interview with Anthony without downloading the toolbar.

No, you don’t have to download the Motivational Radio toolbar to listen to the station. But, if you decide to download it, you’ll have lots of goodies, like instant button to the studio, blog, community, running ticker on upcoming shows, weather, and more.

Yes, the Motivational Radio site got a whole make-over. Not just the website graphics, but the content is all new: blogs, news, article directory, guest times, and a really cool social community. Sign up for a free Advertising Package (though the upgrade to Silver or Gold is really the best deal!)
