Happy 2011 – New Beginnings
As the first week of the New Year begins, everyone is making resolutions, personal or professional or both. I’m working on a new business plan for our copywriting business. I’ve had some exciting changes in the last couple of months: fabulous new clients, a part-time job as a photojournalist for Largo Patch, a new place to live and a renewed outlook as a writer/business owner.
We moved into our new place at the beginning of November, which also turned into a phase longer and more complicated than I expected. We’re thrilled with our new home and working at lessening some of those surprises. With the bumps, I’ve been focused on my clients’ projects, rather than my own. Their work is my priority. Forgive my absence; I’ll be back here in full force very soon.
I’ve been gathering information for growing a new business and my daily work plan, which I may share later, once I iron out all the details. One of this week’s posts will include a recommendation for another writers’ must-have resources.
I hope you are approaching 2011 with renewed hope, a generous heart and targeted action.
